The Post-Wedding Realization
The true turning point came late that night. As the music faded and everyone headed to the afterparty or home, I stood looking at the stunning, yet daunting, mountain of platters. I knew I faced at least two hours of clean-up ahead of me.
In that exhausted moment, I realized: no Mother or family member should ever have to miss out on the memories of their child’s wedding day because of a cookie table.

Meet the Founder: Why I Am Here for the Cookie Table
The Moment of Inspiration
My journey to creating Here for the Cookie Table began with my daughter’s beautiful wedding in 2021—a day that taught me exactly what not to do.
Like every Mother of the Bride, I cherished the morning: the shared excitement of hair and makeup, the happy chaos of getting dressed, and the quiet joy of mother/daughter photos.
But then, the celebration paused, and the work began.
“I had to change out of my dress and spend hours setting up the cookie table, barely completing it in time for the guests to arrive. There was no time to eat, no time to breathe—just a quick change back into my gown to start greeting guests.”
I missed out on those quiet, precious moments right before the ceremony, sacrificing enjoyment for logistics.
Our Team
Robin
Robin has been a vital part of Here for the Cookie Table since its 2021 beginning. With over 30 years of experience in both the banking and food service industries, she offers a unique and valuable perspective. Robin cherishes her family time with her two children and two grandchildren.
Robin’s favorite part of designing a cookie table is having new and exciting themes and color palettes for each wedding.

Lena
Lena has been a cherished member of the Here for the Cookie Table team for the past 3 years. She joined the team after experiencing our work firsthand when we created the cookie display for her very own wedding! Her great sense of humor is always a bonus, keeping the mood light. Outside of the organization, she is a dedicated middle school teacher and loves spending time with her husband and beautiful daughter.

Angie has been bringing her creative flair to Here for the Cookie Table as a Design Specialist for 3 years. When she's not creating stunning cookie table displays, Angie is an experienced accountant which provides an attention to detail that carries over into her cookie table design. She enjoys time with her husband and two children, often found cheering them on enthusiastically at their sporting activities.
When creating displays, Angie loves watching individual pieces transform into a beautiful vision, resulting in amazing cookie tables.

Diane has been a dedicated member of the Here for the Cookie Table team for 3 years. When she is not helping create beautiful displays, she stays active enjoying golf, pickleball, and bowling, and passionately follows Pitt football. Most importantly, every moment she gets to spend with her four grandchildren.

Angela joined Here for the Cookie Table in 2024, bringing with her extensive experience from many years in the catering and wedding industries. When she is not helping create beautiful displays, Angela enjoys spending time with her two children.

Mindi joined Here for the Cookie Table in 2024, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her 30+ years of experience in the catering and wedding industries. Her creative vision, combined with her positive attitude and eagerness to learn, makes her a perfect fit for the team. Mindi is also the proud mother of two adult children.

Melissa is a valuable member of the Here for the Cookie Table team. By day, she thrives in the corporate world, but on the weekends, she dedicates her energy here alongside her husband. She is the proud mother of two adult daughters, and the excitement is building as one is set to get married in 2027!

Erik is an essential part of the Here for the Cookie Table team, working alongside his wife, Melissa. He works on set ups and is a vital part of the team when it comes to organized breakdowns. Erik is a dedicated High School teacher with a background in wedding videography.
“I like assisting with the creation of such a highly visual and unique element of a couple’s wedding day that leaves family and friends astonished and astounded!”
Molly
Molly joined the Here for the Cookie Table team in 2024. She is a dedicated high school teacher and actively volunteers in the community. When she's not teaching or helping with displays, Molly enjoys time with her husband and two children, often cheering on her daughter at competitive dance competitions.
“This job allows me to be part of a Pittsburgh tradition that goes far beyond dessert. The Pittsburgh cookie table is a labor of love-an expression of family, heritage, and community passed down through generations. I love being part of something so meaningful. Each cookie represents a story, a memory, and a celebration of the people who baked them with care.”

Molly joined the Here for the Cookie Table team in 2024, bringing with her a vast background in the catering and wedding industry. Her experienced, creative eye is a huge asset to the team. Molly enjoys life with her husband and two grown children, and as a true dog lover, she can frequently be found dog sitting.

Suezette joined the team at Here for the Cookie Table in 2025. Her creative talents are evident in her passion for renovating and decorating homes, a skill set that adds a unique flair to her work here. Suezette enjoys time with her family, including her two adult children and two grandchildren.
TransportationDoug
Doug joined the Here for the Cookie Table team in 2025 and provides an absolutely vital service: the careful transportation of our displays to and from venues. His reliability and meticulous handling ensure that every beautiful cookie table arrives and departs safely, making him an essential part of of our busy wedding weekends!
